Ski touring from the St. Bernard Monastery in Switzerland. In the heart of the Mt. Blanc Range: The Pyramid du Tacul in the center foreground, the North Face of the Tour Ronde behind to the left and the Grand Capucin, behind and far right. The North Face of the Tour Ronde looks like a split hourglass of snow is a wonderful 12 pitch ice/snow climb and has been skied! The Grand Cap has 10-12 pitch rock climbs starting at 5.10 c and is perfect granite. The Pyramid which is hidden among the other rock is a spectular 12 pitch 5.7 crack climb. The Forbes Arête (left skyline) of the Chardonnet is a long mixed climb that is not too hard (5.8).
