Pulling the rappel ropes from the descent on The Index, a 5.6 rock multipitch rock climb. Hiking up to the Albert Premier Hut. The Chardonnet is in the background with the impressive left skyline ridge being the Forbes Arête, a long mixed rock and snow route up to 5.8 in difficulty. There are many of routes to climb from this hut as well. Looking up the Mer de Glace glacier from the Aiguille Rouge. The Dru is on the far left and the Grand Jorasses is far back and center with the Walker Spur directly below its summit.
